Event – Presentation of the book by Anna Karamanou titled “Europe and Women’s Rights – Europeanization in Greece and Turkey.”

The event will take place on Monday, March 5th at 7:30 PM, at the Municipal Library of Alexandroupolis.

The event will be greeted by:

• Panagiota Pardalidou, President of the Women’s Union of Greece – Alexandroupolis Branch.
• Dimitrios Stefanidis, Sociologist at the Counseling Center for Support of Women Victims of Violence, Municipality of Alexandroupolis.

For the book, the following speakers will talk:

• Chrisa Arapoglou, Journalist, former Member of Parliament.
• Evangelia Schinaraki, former Prefect of Heraklion, former Member of Parliament, PhD in Sociology, Lecturer at the University of Nicosia.
• Ioannis Zamboukis, President of the Alexandroupolis Bar Association.
• Anna Karamanou, former MEP, former President of the Parliamentary Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality, PhD in Political Science & Public Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
